Serve U Accounting has proudly served the community for over 20 years, built on trust, dedication, and strong family values. Founded in 2002 by CEO Cesar Rodriguez Jr., the business began with a simple goal: to help family and friends with their taxes. What started as a one-person operation quickly grew through word of mouth, guided by Cesar’s passion for helping others and his commitment to doing things right.

In 2012, Serve U Accounting opened its first official office at 158 Hester Street, operating from the upper level of the building. During those early years, the business truly reflected its family roots. Cesar worked alongside his mother, Marta Rodriguez, who supported operations, his wife, Leticia Rodriguez, who welcomed clients as the receptionist, and his daughter, Carina Rodriguez, who proudly helped behind the scenes—organizing receipts and learning the value of hard work from a young age. A few years later, Cesar’s father, Cesar Rodriguez Sr., joined the team and continues to work alongside his son to this day.

As the client base continued to grow, Cesar made the decision in 2017 to take over the entire Hester Street building, beginning operations from the main level and hiring his first few employees. This marked a major milestone in the company’s growth. Fast forward to today, Serve U Accounting is a team of 10—including the CEO, his father, and his daughter—working together to better serve a growing community of over 4,000 clients.

In December 2025, the Hester Street office underwent major renovations to create a modern, clean, and welcoming space that reflects the level of service we provide. Today, Serve U Accounting is a one-stop solution for accounting and business needs, offering personal and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll services, government applications such as Child Benefits and WSIB, marketing support, and more.

Serve U Accounting is no longer a one-man operation—it is the result of one man’s vision, passion, and the support of family and a dedicated team. Our mission remains the same: to provide reliable, high-quality service while continuing to grow, train, and lead others so we can serve our clients with excellence for generations to come.
