Cesar Rodriguez | CEO / Accountant

Cesar Rodriguez Jr. started doing taxes in 2002 for family only and every year he found himself having more customers. As the years went by he realized the basement of his house was no longer big enough. He made the decision to move to 158 Hester street in 2012 renting the top floor. The space became small faster than he had thought and when the oppurtunity to rent the bottom space came he went for it in 2017. Cesar has been extremely grateful for his clientele because without them he wouldn’t be where he is. Cesar now has a well-trained team that will continue to grow in the future to help him serve his clients. Outside of the office Cesar enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, watching in-person soccer games (specifically forge FC), and ministering as he is a pastor and is in school extending his knowledge even more.

César Rodríguez Jr. comenzó a hacer impuestos en 2002 solo para la familia y cada año se encontró con más clientes. Con el paso de los años se dio cuenta de que el sótano de su casa ya no era lo suficientemente grande. Tomó la decisión de mudarse al 158 de la calle Hester en 2012 alquilando el último piso. El espacio se le quedó pequeño más rápido de lo que había pensado y cuando se le presentó la oportunidad de rentar el espacio de abajo lo aprovechó en 2017. César ha estado sumamente agradecido con su clientela porque sin ellos no estaría donde está. César ahora cuenta con un equipo bien capacitado que seguirá creciendo en el futuro para ayudarlo a atender a sus clientes. Fuera de la oficina, César disfruta pasar tiempo con su familia, viajar, ver partidos de fútbol en persona (específicamente Forge FC) y ministrar, ya que es pastor y está en la escuela ampliando aún más sus conocimientos.

Leticia Rodriguez | CEO 

Leticia Rodriguez is Cesar jr. ‘S wife and mother to Carina. She has been by Cesar’s side from the beginning and was Cesar’s right hand when they first started the company. Leticia dealt with client concerns, booking appointments, separating receipts and would always offer a pastry, tea, coffee and water when clients came to the house. She now manages and helps train the new employees, looks after office needs and still takes care of clients concerns. Leticia enjoys quality time with family, going to new places, traveling and spending time at cottages. 

Leticia Rodríguez es esposa de César Jr. y madre de Carina. Ella ha estado al lado de César desde el principio y fue la mano derecha de César cuando comenzaron la empresa. Leticia se ocupaba de las inquietudes de los clientes, reservando citas, separando recibos y siempre ofrecía un pastel, té, café y agua cuando los clientes llegaban a la casa. Ahora administra y ayuda a capacitar a los nuevos empleados, se ocupa de las necesidades de la oficina y aún se ocupa de las preocupaciones de los clientes. Leticia disfruta de tiempo de calidad con la familia, yendo a nuevos lugares, viajando y pasando tiempo en cabañas.

Carina Rodriguez  | Jr. Accountant & Marketing Advisor 

Carina Rodriguez is a Business graduate from Mohawk College and currently works alongside her father, Cesar Rodriguez, CEO of Serve U Accounting Inc. Having grown up in the family business, she specializes in personal taxes, small business taxes, and HST filings.

In addition to accounting, Carina provides marketing support, social media management, and promotional design services, including business cards and flyers. She is passionate about helping individuals and businesses succeed while continuing to grow her knowledge and experience in the industry.

Carina Rodriguez es graduada de Administración de Negocios en Mohawk College y actualmente trabaja junto a su padre, Cesar Rodriguez, CEO de Serve U Accounting Inc. Desde joven ha formado parte del negocio familiar y se especializa en impuestos personales, impuestos para pequeños negocios y declaraciones de HST.

Además de sus servicios contables, Carina brinda apoyo en marketing, manejo de redes sociales y diseño de material promocional, como tarjetas de presentación y volantes. Le apasiona ayudar a personas y negocios a alcanzar sus metas mientras continúa desarrollando sus conocimientos y experiencia profesional.

Cesar Rodriguez Sr. has been in Canada for 34 years. He studied book keeping at TriOS College. He has been working with Serve U Accounting for ten years. Heis also a Master Electrician.  He enjoys spending time with family and loves his grandchildren. Some of his hobbies are fishing, travelling and watching t.v.

César Rodríguez Sr. ha estado en Canadá durante 34 años. Estudió teneduría de libros en la universidad de trieo. Lleva diez años trabajando con ServeUAccounting. También tiene una maestría en electricista. Le gusta pasar tiempo con su familia y ama a sus nietos. Algunas de sus aficiones son pescar, viajar y ver television.

Thayra Marting graduated from McMaster University in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. Thayra also has more that 15 years experience in the customer service industry.  This experience, combined with her studies, has fostered the necessary time management, organization and personal skills required to handle a variety of tasks and people in a professional manner.  Her commitment to providing excellent service and personal support has been the foundation of her career, which helps guide the clientele in the right direction for the business needs. Thayra is still expanding her knowledge by taking a Bookkeeping certificate program. Since her arrival to Canada, Thayra has volunteered for different organizations. Currently, Thayra is a volunteer at YWCA Hamilton Good Beginnings Program. In 2017, she was awarded the YWCA Hamilton Volunteer of the Year. In 2021, Thayra received the 2020 Ontario Volunteer Service Award. Thayra is fully fluent in English and Spanish. Thayra loves to dance, listen to music, and read. 

Thayra Marting se graduó de la Universidad McMaster en Administración de Empresas y Gestión de Recursos Humanos. Thayra también tiene más de 15 años de experiencia en servicio al cliente. Esta experiencia, combinada con sus estudios, ha fortalecido la gestión del tiempo, organización y habilidades personales necesarias para manejar una variedad de tareas y personas de manera profesional. Su compromiso de brindar un excelente servicio y apoyo personal ha sido la base de su carrera, lo que ayuda a guiar a la clientela en la dirección correcta para las necesidades comerciales. Thayra continúa ampliando sus conocimientos tomando una certificación en el programa de contabilidad. 

Desde su llegada a Canadá, Thayra ha trabajado como voluntaria para diferentes organizaciones. Actualmente, Thayra es voluntaria en el Programa Good Beginnings de YWCA Hamilton. En 2017, recibió el premio a la Voluntaria del Año de YWCA Hamilton. En 2021, Thayra recibió el Premio al Servicio Voluntario de Ontario 2020. 

Thayra habla inglés y español con total fluidez. A Thayra le encanta bailar, escuchar música y leer. 

Paola Mejia   Graduated from Mohawk College's Office Administration Program; Paola is an administrative assistant at Serve U Accounting. Paola brings an extensive customer service background through her involvement in volunteering with agencies such as the YMCA Immigration Services, where she discovered her passion to serve the community. While completing her studies, Paola had the opportunity to work for Mohawks' College marketing department (The Agency) where she optain her front desk experience.   Outside of work Paola loves spending time with her family and enjoys exercising. 

Paola Mejia Egresada del Programa de Administración de Oficinas de Mohawk College; Paola es asistente administrativa en Serve U Contabilidad. Paola aporta una amplia experiencia en servicio al cliente a través de su participación como voluntaria en agencias como YMCA Immigration Services, donde descubrió su pasión por servir a la comunidad. Mientras completaba sus estudios, Paola tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar para el departamento de mercadotecnia de Mohawks College (The Agency), donde obtuvo su experiencia en recepción. Fuera del trabajo, a Paola le encanta pasar tiempo con su familia y disfruta hacer ejercicio.
